Justin Timberlake wows fans with first ever TV collaboration with wife Jessica Biel on new crime series Candy

Fans have gone wild after jaw-dropping pictures of Justin Timberlake and partner Jessica Biel have popped up on social media after he joined her to star in new crime drama series Candy.

Timberlake has teamed up with his wife to play a deputy that investigates the show's murder. Posting behind-the-scenes snaps, the singer wrote: "Belly's fake, hair's fake, mustache is real. Meet Diffy."

Biel, who plays Candy Montgomery, a romance-novel obsessed, church-going wife and mother in Texas, also wrote on her page and told her 11million followers: "Watch out, Candy. There's a new sheriff in town."

The synopsis reads: "Candy Montgomery is a 1980s housewife and mother who did everything right - but when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom. Until someone tells her to shush. With deadly results."

Co-executive producer Biel previously said how her husband was first asked to jump on board by her producing partner, Michelle Purple.

She explained: "They sort of had this whole plan. I didn't even know about at first. And then I thought he was kidding. And then he said, 'No, for real, I want to do this.'

"And then it was off to the races. He was getting a wig fitting, it was so fun and was such a good surprise.

"I actually felt total peace when he was around. Like, I knew he was going to hold that sort of safe space for me to work in the way I needed to and be non-judgmental and open and free.

"And he gave me the freedom to improvise, which he's so good at and Im less comfortable with."
