The Grinch horror remake The Mean One terrifies people with first look trailer

If you're feeling more Scrooge than Santa, then feast your eyes on The Grinch horror remake, The Mean One. The trailer has dropped and fans are going potty for the devastatingly dark sinister Christmas cracker.

The synopsis for the twisted version of the classic reads: "In a sleepy mountain town, Cindy has her parents murdered and her Christmas stolen by a blood thirsty green figure in a red Santa suit - The Mean One. But when the ravenous, Christmas hating creature begins to terrorise the town and threatens to ruin the holiday, she finds a new purpose - trapping and killing the monster."

Based on the story of Dr Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas, the upcoming American horror parody is directed by Steven LaMorte and written by Flip and Finn Kobler, starring Krystle Martin as the adult version of Cindy You-Know-Who, Chase Mullins, John Bigham, Erik Baker and Amy Schumacher.

Set in the mountain town of Newville, Cindy You-Know-Who returns as an adult and is determined to stop to the evil being destroying the town forever more.

Viewers commented on the trailer: "2 billion dollars at the box office for sure!"
