Mr Blobby accosts Carol Vorderman and Alice Beer on This Morning and smashes props

Mr Blobby's back and causing mayhem on live TV. The iconic comedy character made a surprise appearance on This Morning and created carnage interrupting guests Carol Vorderman, Alice Beer, then moving onto presenter Holly Willoughby.

The retro children’s favourite created chaos as he set about disrupting the guest hosts during their segments and gave them all big Blobby hugs.

Blobby bowled into the studio and smashed a vase on the ground, then made a beeline for Holly and gave her a huge hug before ransacking more props.

A delighted Holly recalled: "I’ve never missed Mr Blobby before and I’m really excited. He was my Gangnam Style, he was my Baby Shark."

Blobby then went on to cause mischief and barged in on Carol Vorderman introducing her phone-in and gave her a hug before trying to block the camera.

The appearance comes after an eBay listing for an original 1990s costume is up for grabs, currently going for £61,000.

The seller noted that a house move means its time to find Blobby ‘a new home’, although they have also included a word of warning for any budding entrepreneurs already getting ideas.

They added: "Mr Blobby is trademarked, and therefore subject to copyright. This costume/prop can only be for personal home display use.

"There can be no unauthorised use – including but not limited to hiring out, lending, public exhibition or any performances. The buyer will be required to sign their agreement of this."
