Dancing on Ice star Mollie Gallagher bags highest score in series — but who got eliminated?

Props to Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher. The actor nailed her routine and was awarded her highest ever score during Props Week along with pro partner Sylvain Longchambon.

The pair put on an impressive airport-themed routine to Come Fly With Me by Frank Sinatra and smashed a 'never been done before' lift with their airport trolley prop, racking up her biggest score of 33 points out of 40.

Skating legend Christopher Dean joked that she has now hit 'cruising altitude'. Oti Mabuse praised that Mollie 'felt at home on ice' and called her lift 'absolutely incredible', while Ashley Banjo agreed that it was her 'most confident and solid skate to date.' 

Mollie urged viewers to support her and wrote on Twitter: "Would be so grateful if you could please vote for us tonight. I’m having the best time and would love to get to the semi finals."

Unfortunately, it was the end of the line for former Hollyoaks star Carley Stenson who became the sixth star to be voted off following a tense skate-off against The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran, with all four judges saving the singer.

Carley, who performed to Beyonce's track Fever using a feather boa, revealed that her shoulder had 'popped out' during her skate-off routine but insisted that she was 'fine' and a medical expert had 'popped it back in' after the dance.  

In her teary exit speech, she said: "It just got harder. I'm gonna miss this man [Mark Hanretty]. I've really enjoyed it, this is all a bit of a blur actually."

The judges called her final routine a 'really ambitious number' which was 'sultry, classy and beautiful'.

She wrote on social media: "If I was to write how much love and admiration I have for this man...your thumb will fall off from scrolling... I’m full of emotions still and will be more literate in time I'm sure. Quite raw and overwhelmed. But I’ll just leave this here for now and say THANK YOU.

"Thank you to @markhanretty. Thank you to @dancingonice. Thank you to YOU all of your messages and support. Thank you to my friends and family for their perfectness x."

Elsewhere in TV land, The Traitors series 2 has been confirmed with Claudia Winkleman returning as the host.
