Jennifer Coolidge has delivered another hilarious acceptance speech at this year’s SAG Awards.

The actress attended the Awards on Sunday night (26th February) with her friend and actor Tim Bagley and received the award for Female Actor in a Drama series for her role in The White Lotus.

During her speech, Coolidge took a moment to thank her date for the night and left him a little red in the face.

She said: “My wonderful date, Tim Bagley, is my date for the night. He’s my best bud for like 20 years. Thank you, you’re a wonderful date tonight.

“I can’t wait until we get home”.

Her joke sent a ripple of laughter through the audience and Bagley (who is gay) joined in. Following the quip, his face appeared to turn a tad red as he smiled up at his friend.

This isn’t the first time Coolidge has given an iconic speech this award’s season.

Last month, she took to the stage at the Critic’s Choice Awards after bagging an award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and made the crowd laugh and cry during her acceptance.

She said: “I just want to say thank you. I want to say to all the people out there. For all the people have sort of given up hope, I hope this gives you inspiration.

“It's not over till it's over. It's not over till you're dead. So please, thank you. Thank you so much.”

Prior to that, she won Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes and thanked the likes of Ryan Murphy for keeping her afloat with “little jobs” over the years and brought creator Mike White to tears after praising him for giving her a chance in The White Lotus.
