Jon Bon Jovi's model son Jake Bongiovi has put a ring on the finger of Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown — and now, the rock star has opened up about their recent engagement.
The Livin' On A Prayer singer likened the young couple's love story to his own marriage in 1989 to high school sweetheart, Dorothea.
Bon Jovi told The Times: "I’ve gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way.
"It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re gonna be great together."
Bon Jovi spoke to People about the pair marrying and admitted: "I don't know if age matters, if you find the right partner and you grow together.
"Growing together is wise. I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all."
The Damsel actress recently divulged how Jake's underwater proposal didn't go swimmingly and she dropped the ring 'deep into the ocean' while on a diving holiday.
Millie revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: "We go under, and we're like many metres down, and he gives me like a shell. And I turn it over, and it's a ring."
After giving a thumbs up to his proposal, the ring then disappeared Titanic-style under the water.
The Enola Holmes star explained: "He puts the ring on my hand and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my finger, plummets like, so fast, it was like a a cinematic movie."
Millie said how her fiancé had braved the deep waters, despite being warned against it by their diving instructor. She continued: "Jake threw himself into - like, so deep. Like the diver was like, 'You can't do that. Your ears. Literally, your brain will explode.'
"He throws himself, he does a cinematic like grab, opens, and he saved the ring. I truly feel like it's a reflection of who he is, and I feel like we're always going to have each other's back. And if anyone drops the ball, we got it. So there we go."
