The book includes essays written by The Beatles legend and is predicted to sell for a staggering amount

McCartney wrote essays on classic literary works such as 'Paradise Lost' and 'The Return of The Native' whilst studying at the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys.

The auction will be conducted by Omega Auctions in Merseyside as part of their ‘The Beatles Collection: Memorabilia & Vinyl Records’ auction.

It is estimated that the book will reach between £4,000 and £6,000, but estimates as high as £10,000 have also been quoted.

The essays were marked by his English teacher Alan "Dusty" Durband who taught Paul McCartney English literature when he was 17-18 years old between 1959-60.
