23 years after he and Oasis played at the Hertfordshire site, Liam might be making a return.
Liam Gallagher has hinted that he may be planning to return to Knebworth House next summer, the venue in which Oasis played their biggest ever shows.
Back on the 10th and 11th of August 1996, Oasis played some of the biggest shows in the history of British music. The two dates brought in a whopping 250,000 people and is often described as Britpop's crowning moment.
Although Oasis are no longer together Liam has still seemed to express interest 23 years on from their mammoth gigs as he took to Twitter on August 16th to say "Any body fancy Knebworth next summer c'mon you know".
Which was met with a response from Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs simply saying "Me"
While many fans have taken to Twitter with excitement we can only wait and see what next year will bring.
