How you doin'? Much better now we've seen the trailer for the new Friends special and Oh. My. God is it worth the wait. The upcoming emotional scenes show Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer MERGE-d (thank you, Chandler) on the infamous sofa after years of on-off-on-off talks about a reunion.

The trailer reads: "The year is 2002, it’s Thursday night, and you rush home to catch the latest episode of Friends. Now get ready for it to happen all over again. Friends: The Reunion is streaming May 27 on HBO Max."

In the UK, the reunion special will air on Sky One on the same day, as well as on demand via NOW TV.

The one question everyone wants answered is were Ross and Rachel actually on a break? And the cast have come to their own final surprising conclusions...

Both Schwimmer and Aniston aka the iconic Ross and Rachel admitted they on a break with their castmates agreeing - apart from Matt Le Blanc (Joey Tribbiani) who claimed it was bull****.

Fans on Twitter agreed: "Matt LeBlanc saying bu*****t to the 'We were on a break' question is the best answer that I heard. Same answer Matt, same answer."

Die-hard fans of the 1990s smash have been going ballistic over the upcoming sitcom spectacular, writing on social media: "I don't think you understand, it actually feels like I am meeting my best friends after a long time #friendsreunion."

One fan added: "Friends AND family reunion."

Another shrieked: "I have goosebumps, literal goosebumps and I am crying and this is just a trailer! I can't! The most epic show in my lifetime is back and I can't keep calm! I would pay to watch old Friends in nappies please!"

While one fan wrote: "Anyone else crying in their office right now? wow. #FriendsReunion."
