Robbie Williams has spent decades being one of the most famous faces in pop, but has shared a video of his upset at not being recognised.

The former Take That star was filmed by his wife Ayda Field, looking forlorn as he walked around London without a request for an autograph or a selfie.

It come after he shared a star-studded line-up for a Hyde Park show.

After selling more than 75 million records, Robbie recently starred in a documentary series which revealed the warts-and-all nature of fame, including the dark side.

His stroll through Hyde Park was a world away from the obsessive fans featured in the documentary.

Robbie was filmed complaining in a resplendent oufit: "This is very concerning.

"We are walking back through Hyde Park. I am dressed completely in pink. I have got pink sneakers on. I have got diamanté sunglasses and absolutely nobody has recognised me or has bothered me, and I really need them to."

He finished: "It was not like this in the 90s."

Ayda also showed Robbie lying on the grass, and filmed him calling out saying hello to people passing by.

Sadly for the star, none of the passers-by recognised him.

He then took matters into his own hands, and went out in Kensington on Tuesday and wanted to see if fans recognised him then by wearing a vest top with his name on the back.

Fans lined up to request selfies with him, much to his delight.

Ayda shared the footage that the star was "back in the game".

They are sharing it as a series of how often Robbie will be spotted.

Tickets for Robbie Williams and all other British Summer Time events at Hyde Park are on sale now at www.bst-hydepark.com.
