After months of fan pleas, Tom Grennan releases his full take on the classic Gillette ‘The Best A Man Can Get’ theme – and it’s sharp as ever!

Tom Grennan has officially answered the prayers of his fans by releasing the full version of the iconic Gillette The Best A Man Can Get jingle.

The singer-songwriter, known for his soulful voice and catchy hits, first lent his vocal chops to the razor brand's legendary theme song in 2023.

The tune, which has been stuck in the heads of millions since its original debut in 1989, got a fresh shave with Grennan’s reimagining, premiering during a primetime TV slot last December.

Since then, it’s been the soundtrack to shaving routines across the nation.

For months, Grennan’s fans have been badgering him to release the full-length version, and on August 16, the man finally caved. Announcing the release on X (formerly Twitter), Grennan teased: “I have finally caved… The full version of @GilletteUK #TheBestAManCanGet is out now.”

The track, a neat 61 seconds of pure nostalgia and Grennan's signature style, is now available on all major streaming platforms!

And it seems Grennan's followers are more than just fans of his music – they’re now proudly flaunting their love for his Gillette collaboration.

At recent gigs, audiences have been seen sporting Gillette-branded tops, with one fan even holding up a cheeky sign begging: “Tom please play Gillette.”

Grennan, clearly amused by the dedication, shared the moment on Instagram, calling it: “just too good to ignore.”

But let’s not forget that Grennan’s got more than just a killer jingle under his belt. His third studio album, What Ifs & Maybes, dropped in 2023 and shot straight to the top of the UK charts, securing him his second UK Number One album.

With singles like You Are Not Alone, All These Nights, and How Does It Feel, the album solidified Grennan as a force to be reckoned with in the music scene.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Grennan was crowned Best UK & Ireland Act at the 2023 MTV EMAs, edging out the likes of Sam Smith, Calvin Harris and Raye.

And if that wasn’t enough, he also made it onto the list of the most played artists in the UK in 2023, nestled comfortably at number eight, in a list where Ed Sheeran pipped Taylor Swift to the top.

Just last week, on August 10, Grennan played his biggest headline show to date at London’s Gunnersbury Park, with Blossoms providing support.

The concert was a massive success, but now, with his Gillette track on repeat, it looks like fans have a new favourite tune to request at his gigs.

So, whether you’re a fan of Grennan’s chart-topping albums or just love a good shave, it’s safe to say Tom Grennan has proved, once again, that he’s The Best A Man Can Get!
